SAGD Pipe Construction
Construction of thermal conduit piping at Sunshine Oilsands West Ells SAGD operations about 100 kilometres northwest of Fort McMurray. About 80 per cent of the bitumen reserves are too deep to be mined and can be recovered in situ (in place) by drilling wells. The most common in situ technique is SAGD.
